Luncheon Meeting – September 22, 2021

-

The meeting planned for September 22 has been cancelled.  With the rise in COVID  cases due to the Delta variant and the low number of registrations, we have decided to postpone the event to a later date.

Program –  Norwood Montgomery Road Redevelopment Plan called “Relaunch the Pike.”

Earlier this year the Norwood City Council approved a resolution to adopt this Plan to guide the future of the corridor from Dana Avenue to the Norwood Lateral.

The Montgomery Road Redevelopment Plan is an action plan designed to recommend short term, low cost improvements, and medium term more capital intensive improvements to guide the revitalization of the corridor and continue to attract and encourage the right kinds of private investment in a manner that reflects the aspirations and pride of the City of Norwood

Our presenters will be Mary C. Miller, President of Norwood Together, who wrote the grant application for the City to fund the planning process and Steve Johns, Planning Services Administrator for Hamilton County Planning and Development, who worked with Norwood Together to create the plan.
