Luncheon Meeting – March 26, 2019

Our speaker will be Harry Blanton, Manager of the Hamilton County Economic Development office (EDO), a division of HCDC. He will discuss how HCDC and the County can help with business development.  In addition Harry will give us an overview of the federally designated Norwood Opportunity Zone and the benefits of that program.

 

Bio:  Harry Blanton is also a Vice President of HCDC. In his role as Manager, Mr. Blanton supervises the staff and directs the programs of the Office. EDO was created by the Hamilton County Commissioners to provide economic development services to the communities and businesses of Hamilton County. EDO focuses on business retention, expansion and attraction utilizing incentive, financing and site development programs.Harry has been with the Economic Development Office for more than 25 years. He received a Master of Community Planning from the University of Cincinnati and holds a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame.
